Gyan Devi Senior Secondary School, Sector 10, Gurugram proudly organized the Inter School Competition PRATIBHA 2026 under the aegis of GPSC with an aim to nurture creativity, confidence, communication skills, and appreciation of India’s rich cultural heritage among primary school students. The event provided an inspiring platform for young learners to showcase their talents in a spirit of healthy competition.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by the School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav, followed by the felicitation of the esteemed judges, as a mark of respect and appreciation. A melodious Welcome Song and a graceful Prayer Dance created a serene and vibrant atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for the day's events.
A total of 27 schools enthusiastically participated in the competition. The events were thoughtfully designed to foster creativity, enhance communication skills, promote cultural awareness, and encourage healthy competition among young learners. Heritage Hive, a Spell Bee competition for Classes I & II, strengthened vocabulary and spelling proficiency. Rupaayan, a Fancy Dress competition for Classes III & IV, celebrated the traditional culture and rich diversity of India through vibrant portrayals of cultural icons and regional traditions. Kalathali, for Class V, showcased students’ artistic talent as they created beautiful traditional Indian art on MDF boards.
The Rupaayan and Kalathali events were judged by an eminent panel comprising Ms. Sunita Budhwar, Ms. Vinita Yadav, Mr. Satender Negi and Ms. Amita Sharma, who appreciated the creativity, confidence and remarkable talent displayed by the participants. The winners were felicitated with certificates and mementoes. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the School Vice Principal, Ms. Arvinder Kaur, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the distinguished judges, participating schools, teachers, and students. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
