To observe World Heritage Day and to spread awareness about the importance of preserving our cultural legacy, a special assembly was conducted by the students of Class VII B. The theme for this year was ‘Emergency Response for Living Heritage in Contexts of Conflicts and Disasters.’
The programme began with a meaningful poem followed by an engaging Talk Show – ‘Heritage in Crisis – What Can We Do?’, where students shared insightful views on how heritage is affected during conflicts and natural calamities, and discussed the role we can play in its protection. A melodious group song on heritage filled the atmosphere with pride. The highlight of the assembly was a powerful Nukkad Natak titled ‘Virasat Bachao, Bhavishya Sajao’, where students portrayed various heritage sites and conveyed a strong message about their conservation and protection. The assembly concluded with the Save Heritage Pledge, where students collectively promised to respect, protect, and preserve our rich heritage for future generations.
The School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav, appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to protect and preserve our heritage.
