Installation Ceremony for Interact Club 29/01/26

The Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club was conducted under the guidance of the Rotary Club of Gurgaon Central with the objective of nurturing leadership, service, and social responsibility among students. The programme commenced with the felicitation of all Rotary dignitaries with potted plants and tokens of gratitude.

This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a melodious welcome song. The School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav delivered the Welcome Address, warmly greeting the distinguished guests and highlighting the importance of student leadership and community service.

The cultural segment featured an impactful nukkad natak promoting self-reliance and social awareness, followed by a patriotic dance performance that conveyed the spirit of unity and responsible citizenship.

The highlight of the ceremony was the installation of the Interact Club members. Rotary dignitaries pinned Interact badges to the newly appointed office bearers and board members as a mark of their induction. The oath of office was then administered, where members pledged to uphold the values of Rotary and serve society with dedication.

Rtn. Kanwal Singh Yadav, President of the Rotary Club, encouraged students to embrace the Rotary motto ‘Service Above Self’ and actively participate in service initiatives. Rtn. Devendra Yadav, Assistant Governor, motivated students to develop leadership skills through teamwork and responsibility. Rtn. Dr. Munish Khullar, Past President and Interact Advisor, inspired students to become compassionate leaders committed to meaningful social work.

The School Chairman Capt. J.S. Yadav, in his address, urged students to take initiative, be confident decision-makers, and contribute positively to society. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Rotarian Secretary and then followed by the School Vice Principal, who expressed gratitude to the Rotary Club members, school management, staff, and students for making the programme a success.

The ceremony was formally concluded by the newly installed Interact Club President, marking a promising beginning for the Interact Club in the school.
