To promote the values of diplomacy and global cooperation, a special assembly was conducted by the students of Class VI A to commemorate the UNO Day. The event aimed to help students understand the importance of international organizations in an interactive and engaging manner.
The assembly commenced with the students apprising the audience about the key features of the UNO and its specialized agencies, highlighting their significant contributions toward maintaining world peace and development. It was followed by an uplifting song, which beautifully set the tone of global unity. This was succeeded by an informative segment wherein students talked about a few Sustainable Development Goals that the UN has promised to achieve successfully by 2030. To make the learning more exciting, an engaging quiz was organized to test the students’ knowledge about the UN’s vital work.
The assembly concluded with an encouraging address by the School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav, who appreciated the students for their commendable efforts and urged them to reflect the true spirit of global citizenship and unity.
