Teachers' Day Celebration 04/09/25 & 5/09/25

Gyan Devi Senior Secondary School celebrated Teachers’ Day with great zeal and enthusiasm on 4th and 5th September 2025. The celebrations began on 4th September with a special assembly presented by Class XII students. The Head Girl delivered a heartfelt speech expressing gratitude towards teachers, while the Head Boy recited a touching poem. A melodious song dedicated to teachers filled the atmosphere with joy. Adding to the excitement, Class XII students stepped into the roles of ‘shadow teachers,’ engaging with juniors and experiencing teaching firsthand.

The Primary Wing also celebrated the occasion with equal fervor. The programme began with a sweet song, followed by a thought-provoking skit by Class III on how books are a window to another world. A Class IV student delivered an inspiring speech, and Class V presented a lively dance performance. The Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav, in her address, appreciated the efforts of the students and extended warm wishes to the teachers. She reiterated the values of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and urged the students and teachers to be honest and humble. 

On 5th September, the celebration continued with a sumptuous lunch organized by the School Management for the staff of all the branches. The School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav, delivered a warm welcome address, where she praised the teachers for their hard work and commitment. The celebration began with a melodious musical performance by Mr. Paramjit. The teachers enjoyed fun games, energetic dance performances, and an exciting lucky draw quiz. Mr. Neeraj Parihar gave a mesmerizing Kathak performance leaving everybody enthralled. The highlight of the day was the announcement of the Best Teacher Award, conferred upon Dr. Richa Gupta (Hindi and Sanskrit Teacher) and Mr. Rahul Gulia (Dance Teacher) from our branch for their dedication and excellence. The School Chairman, Capt. J.S. Yadav, in his address, lauded the teachers for their unwavering commitment and passion. The event concluded with a thoughtful token of gratitude presented by the management to all teachers.

The two-day celebration was a perfect blend of respect, joy, and togetherness, leaving teachers from all branches feeling truly special.
