World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise awareness about environmental protection and encourage positive actions to safeguard nature. This year, our school marked the occasion with a Tree Plantation Programme organized by the Environment Club to spread awareness about climate change and its adverse effects.
Students of Class 8 participated enthusiastically in the mass tree plantation drive. A variety of saplings were planted across the school campus, and students took responsibility for watering and nurturing them. The activity aimed to highlight that tree plantation is one of the most effective ways to make our planet greener, livelier, and healthier.
The programme was a great success in sensitizing students towards environmental issues and empowering them with practical knowledge about plants and sustainability.
