The Literary Club of our school held an exciting Inter House Spell Bee Competition for the students of class VI. It provided them a platform to showcase their linguistic skills and enthusiasm. Each house was represented by three students.
The competition featured five engaging rounds: ‘Vocab Voyage’ tested vocabulary recall, ‘Who Am I?’ involved interpreting creative clues, and ‘Jumble Jungle’ challenged teams to unscramble letters. In the ‘Crossword Puzzles’ round, students worked together to complete a crossword grid, and in the ‘Word Extraction Challenge’, participants creatively generated multiple words from a given term. The event culminated in a thrilling tie-breaker where teams faced off with antonyms and spellings to decide the winners.
Himalaya House emerged victorious, followed by Nilgiri House in second place, and Aravali House in third. The School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav, commended the participants for their dedication and teamwork, encouraging them to continue honing their language skills with the same enthusiasm.
