Cyber Awareness Session 30/08/24

A Cyber Awareness Session was held for the students of classes IX to XII to educate them on the growing concerns of the digital world and how to protect themselves from cyber threats. 

The session began with a welcome address by the School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav, who introduced the representatives from Gurugram Cyber Police. Cyber Security Officer, Mr. Raj Kumar Yadav and SI Mohit, Cyber West Police led the session. They emphasized on the importance of using strong passwords, recognizing phishing emails, and being cautious on social media. They discussed various cyber frauds, including identity theft and ransomware, supported by real-life examples. 

It also included an interactive Q&A session, where students’ queries were addressed. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by the School Vice Principal, Ms. Arvinder Kaur, appreciating the valuable insights shared.
