An Inter House English Debate for classes IX to XII and a Hindi Declamation for classes VI to VIII was organized by the English and Hindi Literary Club respectively. The competitions were judged by the School Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav and Vice Principal, Ms Arvinder Kaur.
The topic for the debate was "Electric Cars are Impractical”. Each of the four houses comprised of two speakers, out of whom one presented arguments for and the other against the motion and two interjectors. The debate saw robust arguments and dynamic rebuttals, engaging both the audience and the judges. Dhruv Tyagi from Nilgiri House bagged the first position. Priyamvada Shekhar, also from Nilgiri House won the second position. Rinki Manna from Vindhya House stood third. Krish Kumar from Vindhya House stood out with his insightful question, earning the title of Best Interjector.
In the Hindi Declamation, each house had one participant who showcased their oratory skills on the topic "Social Media: Yuva Peedhi ki Pathshala." Bhumika from Aravali House secured the first position with her powerful speech, while Arjun from Nilgiri House took second place. Soyam from Himalaya House and Bhavya from Vindhya House shared the third position.
The event concluded with an inspiring address by the School Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav, who praised the students for their excellent performances and encouraged them to continue honing their public speaking skills. The competition highlighted the students' eloquence and critical thinking abilities, making it a memorable event.
