On the occasion of World Heritage Day, the students of class VII A held a special assembly to honor and raise awareness about the importance of preserving global cultural heritage.
The assembly started with a virtual tour of various historical sites, creatively described through poetry. This engaging start was followed by a vibrant street play (nukkad natak), emphasizing the need to protect our heritage, culminating with students pledging to conserve it. The event also featured a melodious music performance, celebrating our rich cultural heritage. A quiz on historical facts and sites stimulated the students intellectually, rounding off the event.
The School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav, concluded the assembly with inspiring remarks on the significance of heritage conservation, motivating the students to take active roles in this endeavor.
