Nrityanjali, a mesmerizing musical tribute to the divine, unfolded as students from classes VII and VIII brought the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to life through the expressive mediums of dance and drama. Ms Poornima Lall, Retired Principal, St. Crispin School presided over the function as the Chief Guest. The School Chairman, Capt. J.S. Yadav, Pro Chairman, Mr Ashish Yadav, Managing Director, Ms Neena Yadav also graced the occasion with their presence.
The function commenced with a warm welcome by the School Principal, followed by presenting a token of gratitude to the Chief Guest. The symbolic Lighting of the Lamp marked the beginning of a spiritually enriched journey. The sequence of events, from the soulful Welcome Song to the captivating performances like "Shiv Dance'' and "Yada Yada hi dharmasya," painted a vivid picture of the Gita's timeless teachings. The dialogue between Krishna and Arjun on the battlefield of Kurukshetra resonated with wisdom on duty, self-realization, and detachment from outcomes, emphasizing the integral connection between actions and purpose. The event showcased a rich tapestry of cultural heritage, weaving spirituality into every performance.
The Chief Guest applauded the students' efforts and encouraged them to understand the profound principles of life embedded in the Gita. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Principal. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
