Human Rights Day 12/12/23

A special assembly celebrating Human Rights Day was organised by the students of class VIII B. It began by apprising the audience about the fundamental rights entitled to every individual. A poignant poem on humanity underscored the importance of empathy and compassion. 

The assembly delved into discussions on global efforts, with a focus on the United Nations and its member countries' historical commitment to protecting human rights. Current events like the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Palestine conflicts were scrutinized for their human rights implications. The gathering urged people to take action to safeguard these rights. The resonating strains of the song "Imagine" echoed a humanitarian approach, fostering unity. 

The School Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav expressed appreciation and encouraged students to be advocates for human rights, emphasizing the pivotal role of youth in shaping a just world.
