On June 21st, students and staff of our school joined millions of people around the world to celebrate International Yoga Day. This special occasion, observed annually, aims to promote the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga practice. Students, parents, teachers, and staff members were invited to participate in various yoga activities.
In spite of heavy rain in the morning, the school community gathered in the auditorium, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. The event commenced with chanting of Gayatri Mantra followed by students’ performance that showcased the beauty and unity of yoga. PETs, Ms Savita and Ms Priyanka, shared some remarkable standing and sitting asanas. They talked about numerous benefits of practicing yoga regularly.
The School Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav in her speech emphasized the significance of yoga in maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. She encouraged everyone to follow a healthy lifestyle. The International Yoga Day celebration was a resounding success, leaving an indelible impact on the participants.
