Mock Evacuation Drill 16/05/23

"Prepare and prevent instead of repair and repent."

A safe and secure environment is a prerequisite for any institution, where ensuring safety of children, teachers and staff members during disasters is of utmost priority. Thus to prepare everyone for any unforeseen disaster, our school conducted a mock evacuation drill on 16th May.

The drill commenced with an alarm. Students practiced DROP, COVER & HOLD till the alarm rang. When the alarm stopped students along with the teachers evacuated the building according to the prescribed plan. The students and all the staff members gathered in the school ground. A head count was done to check if all the students were safe and no one was left behind.

The mock drill was conducted successfully with an objective to  successfully deal with various forms of disasters.
