CBSE Budding Authors' Programme 20/12/22

CBSE launched the CBSE Budding Authors Programme on 23rd August 22 in partnership with Central Square Foundation, Pratham Books’ StoryWeaver and National Book Trust. The CBSE Programme is an extension of the CBSE Reading Mission which was launched on  13th September 2021. It aimed  to provide students a digital platform to engage in reading different types of stories and showcasing their creative writing skills.

213 students from classes 6 to 12 participated in the first phase of the programme enthusiastically. They wrote stories on various genres to express their creativity under this programme. Five short listed students registered for the second phase of the  programme which concluded on 30th November. The stories by Yashika Yadav (10A), Krish Kumar(9C) and Rinki(8B) were digitally published on Storyweavers platform.

The programme took the learners from the joy of reading to nurturing creative writing skills and was an enriching experience overall.
