"Yoga is the dance of every cell with the music of every breath that creates inner serenity and harmony."
To highlight the importance of Yoga and the pivotal role it plays in rejuvenating our mind and the body, leading to a healthier lifestyle, every year Yoga Day is celebrated on 21 June. The theme for International Yoga Day 2022 is 'Yoga for Humanity'. The numerous benefits of Yoga make it appropriate to equip everyone with a state of mind that gives them peace, tranquility and joy. Keeping up with the same spirit our school organised a yoga session for all staff members and students. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr Narendra Yadav, State Information Commissioner.
Ms Savita started the event with 'Sukshma Vyayama' to warm up the bodies. Then a few asanas like Surya Namaskar, Tadasana, Vrikshasana etc followed by pranayama were practised by everyone present. Ms Abha displayed graceful rhythmic yoga. She also conducted a meditation session that channelised the internal energy and revitalized everyone. The session was rejuvenating and filled everybody with positive energy.
The Chief Guest in his address highlighted the benefits of practising yoga daily. The School Chairman, Capt. J.S. Yadav also encouraged everyone to follow a healthy regime. He also mentioned that yoga is giving us not only physical strength but also emotional stability to confidently negotiate the challenges before us.
