Mock Evacuation Drill 24/05/22

A safe and secure environment is a prerequisite for any institution, where ensuring safety of children, teachers and staff members during disasters is of outmost priority. Thus to ensure safety of children in disasters and also to promote faster rehabilitation post disaster, our school conducted mock evacuation drill on 24 May i.e. Tuesday.

The drill commenced with an alarm. Students practiced DROP, COVER & HOLD till the alarm rang. When the alarm stopped students along with the teachers evacuated the building according to the prescribed evacuation plan. After evacuation the students and all the staff members gathered in the school playground. A head count was done to check if all the students were safe and noone was left behind.

The mock drill was conducted successfully with an objective to develop competencies to deal with various forms of disasters.
