International Women's Day 08/03/22

International Women's Day is a global day that celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The theme for this year was 'Break the Bias'. To mark the occasion, a special Assembly was conducted by the students of class X. A speech was delivered by Siya Punia of class X B wherein she raised awareness about gender equality and women's rights. It was followed by a struggle story of Savitribai Phule narrated by Yashika Yadav of class X A. Through the story of Savitribai Phule, the pioneer of India's feminist movement the need of a world free from bias, stereotypes and discrimination was accentuated.
