To promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism around the world, Matribhasha Diwas is observed every year on February 21. In order to foster multilingualism for inclusion in education and society our school also celebrated Matribhasha Diwas.
Mayank Nehra of VII C delivered a speech signifying the importance of this day. He also pointed out that mother languages connect everyone with their heritage and define socio-cultural identity. Himanshi of VI A recited a poem wherein she encouraged everyone to learn their mother language and preserve their heritage. Several other activities viz. Slogan Writing and Dialogue Writing were also conducted to imbibe the feeling of oneness with their mother tongue.
