To honour Goddess Saraswati, the bestower of the greatest wealth ever known to human, the wealth of knowledge, Basant Panchmi was celebrated with great fervour by the students of class IX. The event was graced by the presence of the School Chairman, Pro Chairman, Principal and Vice Principal.
The celebration began with lamp lighting and offering flowers to Goddess Saraswati. Shloka chanting in praise of Goddess Sarawati by Yashika Yadav of IX A filled the atmosphere with serenity. Harsh of IX A threw light on the importance of this day. Vaibhavi of IX A and Saachi of IX B paid obeisance to Maa Sarawati through their graceful dance. Siya and Anshul of IX B recited poems in laudation of Goddess Sarawati. The programme came to an end with mellifluous Saraswati Amritwani by Vaibhavi.
The School Chairman and Principal applauded the efforts put in by the students and motivated them to stay connected to their cultural heritage.
