Human Rights Day 10/12/21

To reaffirm the importance of human rights in re-building the world we want, with global solidarity, interconnectedness and shared humanity, 'Human Rights Day' was celebrated virtually by the students of class VIII B. This year theme was 'Equality: Reducing Inequalities and Advancing Human Rights '

The celebration commenced by apprising the students about why we celebrate this day and its importance. To accentuate the theme the meaning of the term equality was highlighted and few inequalities that still hover around us were discussed. Then the means of making the world a better and fairer place were spotlighted. The enactment of the poem 'Where the Mind is Without Fear' depicted that a nation can only progress if the people are undivided and equal in all senses. 

The School Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav applauded the students and motivated them to become advocates of reducing inequalities and advancing human rights.
