The Times NIE in collaboration with Swiflearn organised a Vedic Maths Workshop for the students of classes IV to VIII to boost their Mathematical powers. The resource person for the webinar was Ms Harneet Kaur Gujral, Mathematics Subject Matter Expert, Swiflearn.
She began the workshop by apprising the students about the tips and hacks of solving maths in fractions of seconds through various interesting activities and games. Students who face trouble in learning maths or for whom it is not their favourite subject also enjoyed the workshop a lot by observing patterns and joyful learning.
The workshop gave an insight into how easy solving maths problems could be by reducing finger counting and scratch work. Vedic Maths will also help students who want to appear for competitive exams. Overall the workshop was a great learning experience for the students.
