On November 19, 2024, Class IV presented a special assembly on the theme “Champions of India,” celebrating legendary Indian sports personalities who excelled at the 2024 Olympics.
The program began with a mesmerizing *Vandana*, captivating the audience with vibrant and expressive movements. Students enacted the roles of remarkable sports champions, including javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, shooter Manu Bhaker, freestyle wrestler Aman Sehrawat, and shooter Swapnil Kusale. A segment highlighted the Paralympics, honoring Indian para-athletes like Sheetal Devi, born without arms, and Preethi Pal, who has cerebral palsy. Both won bronze in the mixed team compound event, bringing laurels to India. The celebration also featured a spirited dance by the Indian men’s hockey team and a delightful ball dance by young students, adding charm to the event.
The School Principal, Ms. Sheena Yadav praised the participants and staff for their efforts. She also showed her gratitude to the parents for their cooperation. She further emphasized the role of sports in building self-esteem, discipline, confidence, and time management skills.
