UNO Day Celebration 26/10/23

A Special Assembly was conducted by the students of Class VIII A to celebrate United Nations Day. The year 2023 has been declared as “International Year of Millets (IYM2023)”. The aim is to raise awareness about the crop’s climate-resilience and nutritional benefits. 

The assembly began with a short skit that raised awareness about the UN's mission and its impact on global issues. It was followed by a presentation highlighting the role of Lehri Bai in raising awareness about consumption of millets. A nukkad natak that accentuated the importance of adding millets to one's diet was captivating. The dance performance reflected the diversity and richness of different cultures. These performances fostered a sense of unity and mutual respect. 

The School Principal appreciated the efforts put in by the students and encouraged them to adopt a healthy lifestyle and start adding millets to their diet.
