Independence Day Celebration 15/08/23

To commemorate the spirit of freedom the 77th Independence Day was celebrated with immense zeal and patriotism at our school. The morning began with the unfurling of the national flag by the School Managing Director, Ms Neena Yadav. It was accompanied by a rendition of the National Anthem. 

The celebrations in the school auditorium included a patriotic dance performance, showcasing unity and grace. A poem honored lesser-known Indian freedom fighters, highlighting collective sacrifices. Veerangana Matangini Hazra's courage was lauded, and Jhalkari Bai's valiant role in the 1857 Rebellion was depicted through a play. The event also screened a documentary that shed light on the lives of the often-forgotten heroes of the freedom struggle. It was followed by the dance performance which showcased the divine art form that transcends language and boundaries, uniting us all in celebration. The celebration culminated in a collective resolve among students to uphold the values of our nation.

In her address, the School Vice Principal conveyed her wishes to everyone. She commended the efforts put in by the students and proposed a vote of thanks. The programme ended with the school song. Managing Director ma’am appreciated the students’ performance and the efforts of the teachers.
