Earth Day Celebration 25/04/23

With an aim to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote conservation efforts to protect our planet, Earth Day was celebrated in our school. Students of class VI A organised a special assembly to commemorate the day. 

The programme began by enlightening everyone about the importance of Earth Day through a beautiful poem. It was followed by a skit where students emphasised on the idea of including basic habits in daily life like recycling of paper, reusing of old things, refusing polybags and switching off electrical appliances when not in use. A beautiful song dedicated to mother nature was sung by the students which added a spark to the assembly.                                                                                                                      

The School Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav praised the efforts and hardwork put in by the students. She encouraged the students to save and protect  the earth from any harm so as to make it more cleaner and greener.
