World Health Day 06/04/2023

On the wonderful occasion of World Health Day & 75th Anniversary of WHO a special assembly was conducted by the students of class X. The theme for this year is 'Health for All'.

The event started with apprising the students about the theme. Thereafter, a brief look of public health successes of WHO in the past seven decades was presented through a beautiful story of health. It was followed by a mock interview which gave an insight into the future of health. Next, the ten fields of achievements of the World Health Organisation were accentuated. The assembly came to its culmination with a beautiful dance performance highlighting how the mindset of people is affected due to stress, anxiety etc. which has an impact on the mental as well as physical health. 

In her address, the School Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav, encouraged the students for their performance. She reiterated the fact that 'A healthy mind resides in a healthy body.' Therefore, one must always strive to live a healthy life.
