Basant Panchmi & Republic Day Celebration 25/01/23

To commemorate the spirit of independent and individual India and to honour Goddess Saraswati, the bestower of the greatest wealth ever known to human, the wealth of knowledge, Republic Day and Basant Panchmi was celebrated with great fervour by the students of classes VI and VII. 

The celebration began with lamp lighting by the School Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav and offering flowers to Goddess Saraswati while the background echoed with a prayer song. It was followed by a graceful Saraswati Vandana. The students through a Speech and Poem gave an insight into the making of our constitution and why one should respect it and adhere to its guidelines. The story of few recipients of PMRBP 2022 viz. Gurugu Himapriya, Shivam Rawat & Meedhansh Kumar Gupta was narrated. The euphonious shloka and doha gayan made the atmosphere peaceful and serene. The ambience pervaded with patriotic zeal and pride as the programme moved toward its culmination with a synchronized dance. 

The School Principal in her address motivated the students to be enterprising and active citizens of India. She urged them to lead India to the pinnacle while staying attached to our roots and culture. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
