Independence Day Celebration 15/08/22

"Freedom in the mind, faith in the words, pride in our souls…..Let's salute the nation.'


To commemorate the sacrifices our freedom fighters made to get Independence from British rule, 76th Independence day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the teachers and students. The celebrations began on 10 August whence students of Primary Wing presented a melodious song followed by Rhythmic Yoga. The students of classes III to V made beautiful badges, tri-colored umbrellas and hand bands depicting their love for the country. 


The function on 15 August started with the flag hoisting ceremony by the school Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav followed by the National Anthem. A drawing competition was organized for the students of classes VI to XII. A short cultural programme was organized in the school auditorium which was presided over by the School Chairman, Capt. J. S. Yadav. The programme began with a mellifluous song in praise of our motherland followed by a speech delineating the journey of India over the last 75 years. The Nukkad Natak 'Bharat ko Shreshtha Banana Hai' accentuated the changes one should bring about for the betterment of the nation. The synchronized dance was the true portrayal of our cultural diversity and harmony. The programme ended with the euphonious 'Vande Mataram' that filled the ambience with patriotic gusto and fervour.


The School Chairman in his address commended the efforts put in by all to make the programme a success. He inspired the students to be active participants in taking the nation ahead in every field and make it a super power.
