Independence Day Celebration 15/08/21

"Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country."

The school celebrated the 75th Independence Day with full fervor and enthusiasm. The celebrations were held virtually due to the ongoing pandemic but it could not dampen the students' spirit. The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted in the school following the Covid norms.

The celebration commenced with a melodious ode to Goddess Saraswati. A beautiful skit portraying the British rule in India and struggles faced by the Indian leaders was mesmerizing. The programme also displayed the milestones achieved by India post independence. The moments that transformed India like Green Revolution, white revolution, launch of Aryabhatta satellite etc were also exhibited. Lastly, the students showcased the breakthrough achievements of the “Digital India’’ initiative. The euphonious song 'Jayatu Bharatam' resonated the unity & the unbreakable spirit of the people of India. The programme culminated with a graceful dance performance. 

The celebration showed the indomitable spirit of the students and the pride and love they have for their nation.
