Farewell 2020-2021 10/04/21

In a burst of cheerful greeting and heartfelt best wishes the Gyan Devi family bid farewell to the students of Class XII. Honorable School Chairman, Capt. J.S. Yadav, School Managing Director, Ms Neena Yadav and School Pro Chairman, Mr Ashish Yadav graced the occasion with their benign presence. 

The ceremony began with the lighting of the holy lamp followed by a melodious welcome song. Mementos and gifts were presented to the students. Many interesting and tricky games were played to pep up the environment which were thoroughly enjoyed by the students. The winners of these games were awarded with gifts. The aura of the auditorium was filled with a blend of emotions as a video showcasing the journey of class XII students in the school was played. Thereafter students conferred their respective teachers with titles. A nostalgic poem and medley presented by the students mesmerized the audience.

On behalf of the students of class XII, the Head Boy and the Head Girl thanked the school Chairman,  Managing Director, Principal and all the teachers for their tireless efforts and support in making them a better human being and shaping their future. Priyakshi and Sachin were crowned with the most prestigious titles, Mr and Miss GDSSS. 

The school Chairman in his address advised them to be disciplined and punctual to be successful in life. He further showered the students with his blessings. He urged them not to be afraid of failures as they embark on a new journey. The school Principal emphasized the values that the school has inculcated in the students which they must carry with them wherever they go. She wished them good luck for their future endeavours. Summing up, the day was great, filled with nostalgia, fun and excitement.
