In the wake of the pandemic Covid-19, to ensure proper dissemination of information to students, teachers and parents on how to combat Covid-19, our school organised a webinar on the topic ‘Public Health Response to Covid-19 Appropriate Behaviour’.

For the last eight months we all have been fighting this pandemic. With unlocking of more and more economic sectors it becomes very important that everyone should be educated about how to combat Covid-19. The School Principal, Ms Sheena Yadav started the webinar with a warm welcome note. Ms Anju Nasa conducted the webinar wherein she started by explaining Covid-19 causes, common symptoms, modes of transmission and preventive measures. Accentuating the fact that ‘Prevention is Better than Cure’ she highlighted the advisory for coming in contact with a Covid-19 patient, tips for home quarantine, keeping the high-risk group safe from this virus and breaking the stigma by coming together to fight against this deadly virus. Keeping in mind the upcoming festival season, it becomes more substantial for all to understand what protocols need to be followed to keep oneself and one’s family safe. Various intensive communication strategies made by the government viz. Aarogya Setu app, Promoting Immunity Boosting Ayush Measures etc. were also stressed upon. With the beginning of guidance and remedial classes in school the safety measures followed at school were also highlighted like wearing mask, sanitizing hands regularly and maintaining physical distance at all times.

The webinar ended with a pledge administered by the School Principal wherein she urged everyone to be vigilant, take necessary precautions and follow the key COVID Appropriate Behaviour that prevent the spread of this pandemic. The webinar was quite informative for all the attendees.
