‘Citizenship consists in the service of the country’
To celebrate the 68th Republic Day a special assembly was presented by the students of class VI –C showcasing the various aspect of the constitution. The assembly started with chanting of Gayatri Mantra followed by the patriotic song ‘Aao Milkar’. Sahil and Adhiraj explained the importance of not only our fundamental rights but the need to fulfill our duties towards our nation. After the recitation of a poem, students presented the ‘Preamble' and spoke about the specific terms used in it. A beautiful dance performance with melodious music and graceful movements was presented on the song ‘ Vande – Mataram’. Principal Ma’am addressed the students and urged them to watch Republic Day celebrations and be alert citizens. The assembly ended with singing of National Anthem as a tribute to our country.
