Space India Team organized a workshop at Jantar Mantar on 18th February 2025, from 10.00am to 12.30 pm. Two students of our school participated, Bhumi Sehrawat of Class VIl and Shrey Dhiman of Class VIII.
A guided tour was conducted to show the astronomical instruments and methods of calculating time. Students also gained experience of the use of working models of the instruments.
Students had a wonderful experience and received certificates and a cardboard model of The Jantar Mantar each.
It is a 'must visit' place to observe the ancient method of finding the correct time without a clock.
