A trip to Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025 was organized on 7th February 2025. The teachers of our school were part of this historic visit. Occuring after 144 years under a rare and highly auspicious astrological alignment, this Mahakumbh was indeed a once-in-a-lifetime event for all of them.
The journey by bus,which started on 7th February, Friday, was expected to be of around 12 hours. But due to the massive rush on the roads, it took 26 hours. After 3.5 hours of walking and hitchhiking where possible, they reached the nearest Ghat and everybody had a dip by 12 midnight. Immediately after changing, they again boarded the bus and reached Gurugram at about 11:30 pm, on 9th February 2025.
Visiting Prayagraj Mahakumbh and taking a dip at one of the ghats was an experience beyond words. It was not just about religion but about witnessing an ancient tradition that continues to inspire millions. The teachers of GDPS are humbled and grateful to be a part of something so divine, a once-in-a-lifetime experience that they will cherish forever!
