A career counselling workshop was conducted in the Kalawati Auditorium on 24th December 2024, at 11:30 am. Brig. Kulwant Singh SM, VSM conducted this session. He emphasized on ways to opt for a career in the Armed Forces. He informed the students that entry to the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, is open to all students of class XII, irrespective of their stream. He also spoke about the direct entry to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, after graduation, for permanent commision and the Officer Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, for Short Service Commision.
Students were also told about the technical entry to the Armed Forces and the value of the NCC(C) certificate in gaining entry into the Armed Forces. Details of joining the Navy or the Air Force were also shared with students.
It was a very informative and interesting session for the students and teachers alike.
