A workshop on Cyber Safety and Security was conducted in the Kalawati Auditorium by the Cyber Crime Police, Gurugram, on 19th October 2024.
The main aim of the workshop was to educate students about ways to use their digital devices in a safe and secure manner. This would help students to understand the vital role they play in helping to combat Cyberattacks. The main point which was stressed was about the digital footprints which we leave every time we use digital devices or the internet.
The IT Act was also spoken about, which details the consequences of sharing or posting objectionable material or personal information of others.
This workshop was attended by students of Classes VIIl to XII along with their teachers.
It was an eye opener for the students as they understood the real threat the cyber world could pose for them.
