The Independence Day Function, aptly titled 'United Colours of India', was presented by the students of Classes VIII-XII, in the Kalawati Auditorium on 15th August 2024. Maj. Gen. Sk Yadav and Mrs. Nirmal Yadav graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour respectively.
The function was also graced by our respected Chairman Sir, MD Ma'am, esteemed members of the Management, guests and parents.
After the introduction of the Chief Guest by Principal ma'am, the event commenced with the traditional ritual of lighting the holy lamp by the honourable Chief Guest and all other dignitaries.
The patriotic fervour, which our Independence Day always ignites in every Indian heart, was highlighted by the poem, 'Shershah Ki Dastaan', recited by Vinay of Class IX. The Krishna Vandana was presented by the students of Class VIIl, followed by various other cultural events depicting India's vibrant culture and the underlying theme of 'Unity in Diversity'.
In his address to the gathering, the Chief Guest was full of praise for the staff and students for putting up such a wonderful programme which brought out the essence of patriotism so beautifully. He advised everyone to adhere to certain life values such as- discipline and aim, responsibility in all one does, as well as gratitude and respect to one and all.
The Vote of Thanks was then proposed by Vice - Principal Ma'am, followed by the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the Chief Guest and his lady wife, by Chairman Sir and MD Ma'am.
The event concluded with the National Anthem which was sung with full enthusiasm by the 200 people assembled in the auditorium.
