To commemorate the 3rd anniversay of NEP 2020, CBSE proposed a sensitisation campaign for schools and students on environmental concerns. Under this campaign, students of classes Nursery – XII took part in various activities.
A special assembly was conducted in which students spoke Hindi and English thoughts relating to the Enviornment. An English poem to spread awareness about the importance of environment protection, was also recited by Kritika of class VII A.
A poster making activity was conducted for classes III – V on the topics ‘Importance of Tree Plantation ‘, ‘Water and Energy Conservation’ and ‘Pollution Control’.
Class discussions were held about various environmental concerns, the importance of tree plantation and the conservation of resources to raise awareness among students.
To celebrate 'One Child-One Plant' campaign, saplings were provided to students of classes Nurery-XII. They clicked pictures while planting these saplings in their houses.
Overall, this campaign was a great success.
