A Cleanliness Drive was organised in school from 1st September 2021 to 15th September 2021, under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan programme. The main purpose of this programme was to create awareness among students regarding cleanliness and its benefits.
The students of Classes III to XII participated in this drive.
A team of ‘Keep School Clean’, an internal organisation, was formed and several activities were conducted for fifteen days. Students organised special assemblies during this fortnight, in which they recited poems, gave speeches and took a Swachhata Pledge. They even organised a rally as a part of ‘Community Outreach Day’. Posters and Slogans regarding cleanliness were displayed at prominent places in the school. An exhibition of these posters was also put up online on MS Teams, in all class groups. Students participated actively and enthusiastically in all the activities.
