World Environment Day 2021 - 05.06.21

World Environment Day, which was established in 1972 by the United Nations, is observed annually on 5th June. The main purpose of this day is ‘Ecosystem Restoration’ and the theme this year was Reimagine, Recreate, Restore.

Students of Classes III to X took active part in various activities which were organised to observe and promote this important day. They made beautiful posters to spread awareness about the damage already inflicted on our planet, and how important it is to prevent, halt and reverse this damage.

Students also recited meaningful poems and made videos of the same. Some students planted saplings at home. Face painting and hand painting activities were also done under the online guidance of teachers. The pictures and videos of the activities were shared online and clearly showed how whole-heartedly the students participated in observing World Environment Day.
