International Women’s Day Celebration

Our school celebrated  International Women’s Day on Tuesday, 9th March 2021.

The programme was graced by the Chairman of the Gyan Devi Group of Schools, Capt. J.S. Yadav, the Managing Director, Mrs. Neena Yadav, Guests of Honour, the Principal, the Vice – Principal, Staff Members and Students of Classes X and XII.

The Guests of Honour were given a warm welcome. The programme started with the lighting of the holy lamp by the guests.

Karishma of Class XI presented a motivational poem on ‘Nari Shakti’. The girls of Classes IX and XI showcased the role of women personalities who achieved great heights in spite of the immense hurdles they had to overcome.

A melodious group song was then presented by the students, followed by a beautiful classical dance performance by Mrs. Shilpi Kumari, our primary class teacher.

The Principal then introduced the Guests of Honour to the audience. The guests delivered powerful speeches, highlighting the contributions of women.

In his inspirational address, Chairman Sir thanked the Guests of Honour and encouraged the students with his words of wisdom.

Managing Director Ma’am handed over a creative artwork and a Tulsi plant to each Guest of Honour as a token of appreciation.

The programme ended with the rendition of the National Anthem.
