The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated virtually by the students of classes V to XII on 26th January, 2021.
The programme started with a speech by Kamal, class XA, followed by a vandana invoking the blessing of goddess Durga. Rakshit of class XA recited a patriotic Hindi poem and melodious patriotic songs were sung by Parkhi Mudgal, X-A and Ziya of class XI. Students of classes V to VII played the role of their icons like Lal Bahadur Shastri, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Narendra Modi etc. Yoga and dance performances on patriotic songs were also put up by the students of classes VII to IX. Students also took an oath to respect and follow the rules laid down in the constitution.
The programme concluded with a speech by Chairman Sir. He appreciated the efforts put in by students, parents and teachers in making the programme a success. He also urged the students to work hard to uphold the pride and dignity of the nation. Principal Ma’am proposed the vote of thanks and the programme came to an end with the National Anthem.
