WOMEN'S DAY FUNCTION - 07.03.2020

GDPS organised a grand event to celebrate the International Women’s day Function on 7th March 2020 to recognise the contribution and significance of women. This was a maiden venture to acknowledge and honour the pillars of the GDPS family. On the auspicious occasion of Women’s day, the Kalawati Auditorium of our school was also officially inaugurated by our Patron, Mrs. Kamal Yadav and the Chairman of Gyan Devi Group of Schools, Capt. J.S. Yadav. The programme commenced with the lighting of the holy lamp by the dignitaries. This was followed by a melodious song dedicated to women by our Music Director, Mr. Negi. The students of Class X & XII staged a dance drama depicting the four Yugas through which the fierceness of women in all their unbashed glory was showcased. A few games were organised for the dignitaries. MD Ma’am was honoured with a sash by the Chairman. The guests of honour were also honoured with sashes and gifts by our worthy MD Ma’am.  Words of appreciation and acknowledgment were spoken for the dignitaries by the Director Academics and the Principal. Pro- Chairman Sir too spoke about the positive impact MD Ma’am (his mother) has played in his life.Chairman Sir, in his speech applauded the efforts of the dignitaries and the teachers. A presentation showing the journey of the school since its inception was presented at the end of the show. The function ended with the rendition of the National Anthem.
