With the noble aim of celebrating, ‘An Eco friendly and Green Diwali’, the Retail department students of Classes XI & XII of our school organised a Diwali Mela in the School Auditorium.
To make this occasion more special, sparkling and exciting, the Chairman of Gyan Devi Group of Schools was invited to inaugurate the Mela. The Chairman and MD Ma’am declared the Mela open for all after lighting the holy lamp.
Students presented an Artistic Yoga with diyas. Stalls were adorned with handicrafts, handmade flowers, paintings, greeting cards, painted diyas and wall hangings to let students and teachers go on a little shopping spree.
There were exciting games and lips-smacking eatables that were relished by one and all.
MD ma’am declared the prizes for the Best Stalls and gave away Books and Certificates to the winners.
The Mela depicted the vibrant festival of lights.
