JANAMASTAMI FUNCTION - PREM BHAKTI

The Janamashtami Function 2019 of the juniors of Gyan Devi Public School, Senior Secondary was woven around the theme, ‘Prem Bhakti’. Mrs. Asha Suri w/o Retd. Air Chief Marshal N.C. Suri, AVSM, VM graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the function. The function was presided over by our honourable Managing Director, Mrs. Neena Yadav, Pro Chairman, Mr. Ashish Yadav and other dignitaries of the Managing Committee. The programme started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest & the dignitaries. The Principal extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, the dignitaries present & parents of the juniors. The one-hour long cultural show held the audience in awe and left them enlightened as the show culminated. 150 students dressed in colourful & vibrant attires, staged a musical extravaganza. The main attraction of the show was the Dashavatara’ and a skit on the bhakti of Sridama. The Chief Guest applauded the efforts of the students & teachers. The function ended with the Vote of Thanks by the Coordinator followed by the National Anthem. The show was heart-warming indeed!
