Gyan Abhiyan Kendra

Gyan Abhiyan Kendra came into being on 2nd October 2001. Our aim is to reach out to underprivileged children and help them get free education in a comfortable and free environment.The school Management is providing free Syllabus books, stationary and uniform. As on date, more than 100 children are availing the facility provided by this bridge school. In Class V, these students take the Board Exam conducted by the NATIONAL OPEN SCHOOL, an autonomous organization of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (Govt. of India), New Delhi. They are then issued an ACHIEVEMENT CUM TRANSFER CERTIFICATE on qualifying the exam. This certificate is valid for further admission to any institution in the country.

Besides basic education, the children of Gyan Abhiyan Kendra are also taught the human values of kindness and affection, as well as sharing and caring for each other. It is indeed a pleasure to see the bright young faces eagerly grasping whatever they are taught, and taking part in various co-curricular activities with enthusiasm. In this manner, we hope to bring these children into the mainstream of society, so that the word ‘deprived’ no longer applies to them. We shall continue to work hard towards the realization of this goal. This is our humble way of lending a helping hand in changing the destiny of such children.

We are proud to say that our first student, Meena Mohammed, appeared for her Class XII Board Exams in March 2015. Sita Soni has taken her Board Exams in March 2018. We have decided to educate them further in any field of their choosing. The school will always be there to support them in all their endeavours.
