Morning Assembly Activity on Sneezing and Coughing Etiquette

On 12 December 2025, during the morning assembly, a special activity was conducted to teach students the correct sneezing and coughing etiquette. The teacher presented a short enactment to show how we should behave when we sneeze or cough.

Through the enactment, students learned that:

• We should always cover our mouth and nose with a tissue or a handkerchief.

• If we do not have a tissue, we should sneeze or cough into our elbow and not into our hands.

• We must throw the used tissue into a dustbin.

• After sneezing or coughing, we should wash or sanitise our hands.

The activity helped students understand that these small habits keep everyone healthy and prevent the spread of germs. All the children enjoyed the demonstration and promised to follow proper hygiene every day.
