In our school, we celebrated Basant Panchami and Yellow Day with great enthusiasm and devotion on 03 February 2025. The school campus was filled with the vibrant hues of yellow, symbolizing energy, prosperity, and the arrival of spring.
The day began with a special assembly where our learners learnt about the significance of Basant Panchami, honoring Goddess Saraswati, the deity of wisdom and learning. Teachers and students offered prayers, seeking blessings for knowledge and creativity.
Our little learners looked adorable in yellow attire, adding to the festive spirit. Various engaging activities were organized, including
a skit on the importance of Basant Panchami, Music & Dance Performances, celebrating the joy of spring. Saraswati Vandana sung by students, filled the atmosphere with devotion. To make the celebration more meaningful, children enjoyed a special snack time with yellow-colored foods like bananas and turmeric-infused dishes, connecting them to the theme of the day.Through this celebration, our learners not only had fun but also gained cultural awareness and appreciation for traditions. The day was a perfect blend of learning and festivity, leaving behind cheerful smiles and enriched minds.
