In school , we explore science through hands-on learning and real-life experiences. On 13 December 2024, one fundamental concept was introduced to the children that sound is produced by vibrations. The teacher explained first about - What Are Vibrations? They were told that Vibrations are tiny, quick movements that happen back and forth. When an object vibrates, it causes the air around it to move. These movements create sound waves that travel to our ears, allowing us to hear. Further they were explained about the concept through the Hands-On Activities , namely Rubber Band Guitar and Paper Cone and Rice. By exploring these activities, children developed a deep understanding of the concept of sound and its connection to vibrations. It also encouraged them to observe, experiment, reflect and build a strong scientific foundation for future learning.
